Soon time for qualifying round 1!

We have made a real warm up and are ready to be called down for qualifying round 1 and the first pass ever on the Vette and for Andreas in Pro Modified!

It will just be a test pass to see how the car reacts!

I want to thank my partners that supports this Pro Mod test year!

We are getting closer to take off for Santa Pod Raceway! 🇸🇪✈️🇬🇧🎉

The Scania truck finally got back to the ÅBM shop Saturday last week after the repairs / freshen up that’s been made during the winter! 🤩💎👌🏻 And what a difference it is! 😃 Thanks to all involved in this that made it happen! ❤️🙏🏻

Then I spent some time messing around with it due to some air leaks, it’s so much fun with an old truck! 😂😅 But I succeeded to repair the valve that caused the leak after some work with it!… 🤓

Then I installed arm rests on the “new” drivers seat to make it even more comfortable! 🤩 And I must say WOW what a difference it is to drive it now, that old park bench that was in it before was junk already when we bought it in 2017! 😅🤪 This was money WELL spent for sure! 🎈

After that I cleaned out the cabin / dumpster really good, installed the generator on the truck and did put the truck and trailer together again and took the trip to Opus car inspection in Norrtälje for the yearly control of the truck and trailer! 🚛💨

And it looks like the hard work during the winter payed off, because both passed without any problems! ✅💯 Thanks for the great customer service as always at this control station! 🙌🏻👏🏻🙏🏻

Then when I got back to the shop John The Sneaky Snake came by and washed of the rig! 🐍🧽🫧❤️

Now some last messing around with stuff that needs to be prepared, loaded in the trailer, organizing in the trailer and then tomorrow I will be heading to Ludvika to load up the Vette! 🥳

No half assing here! 💪🏻 Preparations is key and was made earlier! The plan was 4 whole days working in the Vette, putting it together and fire it up so it will be ready to load in the trailer next week! 👌🏻

Many people will never understand, but this is a way of life with a lot of sacrifices just like one more full time job! 😎

Ok, it’s 4 days of work on the Vette now! 🤩🥳

Yesterday I took out all I needed from the Chevelle and now it’s time to start putting it into Jörgens Corvette and make it ready for the season start at Santa Pod Raceway in less than 3 weeks! 🤠

Starting with The Doorslammers and then The Main Event the weekend after, really look forward to make a lot of rounds in the car and figuring it out! 👌🏻 Got new stuff up the sleeve I wanna try! 🤓

A couple of weeks ago I did some service job on the block, dad did service up the heads and did put our head short block together for the Vette with a new crank, rods and camshaft! 💪🏻🤠 After that I took it to Ludvika and Jörgen, Ludde and Moa did put the rest of the engine together and did put it back in the car again! 👌🏻😃

Season start is getting closer, in three weeks from today me and Jörgen will probably be at Santa Pod Raceway! 🇬🇧🥳

This past weekend was a good one! 🤩

Max will not be able to go with us to the races this year, that’s the first time in almost 13 years that will happen! 😳🥲 He will be missed for sure, but he will be back! ❤️

So, we needed someone to replace Max and that ended up with a new team member named Klas and he’s a part of Team Ludvika from now on! 😍

So this past weekend I did have some converter and converter drive school with him and Max did take care of the Lenco school! 🤓📚

The result after the weekend is 4 serviced Lenco Transmissions, Bruno Drive and Neal Chance Converter that are ready to go into the car! 💪🏻😎

Klas will be a great add to the team and he’s good at what he’s doing so I’m sure this will work out great! 😃

When we did spend some time at the ÅBM shop in Täby Jörgen, Ludde and Moa did put the motor together and back into the Vette in Ludvika! 🥳

Season start is getting closer, 3 weeks from now we will be in Malmö waiting to go on the ferry to Germany!
