The status on the Chevelle so far during the winter can be summarized as a mess!!…

Pictures below shows the situation right now…

With less than two weeks until it’s time to leave the shop and go to the first outing for 2019 at Santa Pod Raceway in England I would like to say that everything is a complete mess!…

We haven’t been able to do much at all during the winter due to the delayed paint job on our rig because I calculated on 4-6 weeks at the most with it away so I did not take out all the tools and spares into the shop… Now when we got it back again after around 20 weeks it for sure puts us in a really bad situation to get everything ready on the car (and don’t forget about all the work time we did miss on the trailer also during all of this months….) and on top of that we have the busiest time of the year at our work shops and this year it is more than much and a mess because of different circumstances at work….

Below some stuff that been made at least.

Time to go back to 3-speed again!

Max have got the Lenco’s back together as 3-speeds!

The Brund drive and converter are checked trough and serviced.

The heads have been serviced and got a couple of new valve seat

Me and Sofi have got the motor apart, got a new camshaft in it and some well needed service…

Max got some new tires ready and got a spare set ready to go on when we need them!

Still, the car is in a million pieces…. Well hold your thumbs for us!…

Stay tuned!
