Ready for a nice evening here at Sundsvall Raceway!

We are ready with our pit area, the car is inspected and approved and we just got some nice dinner from Stockholm Gourmet and top of that we got some soft Johnny Cash on the radio! 🙂 I just love it! 😀

Now it’s me, mr poop and mr happy to make a tune for tomorrow’s first qualifying round!

Wow, what a throw back Thursday with memories! 🤠

Today Facebook told me that it is 9 years since we started on the trailer (The White Hell) for real! 😳 I bought the 2005 year model Gray & Adams trailer in 2015, back then it was just 10 years old (kind of new compared to many others) and I must say it turned out pretty good after a lot of work, money, problems and A LOT of more problems and issues during the way! 😅😂

I knew what I wanted and I pretty much have it today! I made my dream come true, all needed was hard work and having the right mindset on a bumpy road of getting it done all the way! 🫡

Here is some before and after pics on the outside and on the inside upper and lower floor! 🥳 It’s pretty amazing that it is the same trailer!… 🙃 And I think it now has been kind of all done for about 2 years, well except for maintenance and stuff I found that wasn’t done all right from the beginning…

The only thing I really miss about those early years working on it is my inspiration and interest of working like a maniac 24/7!… Wish I could find some of that spirit again!… 🤔

WOW! 😳 12 years ago! 😅 Got a memory on FB from 2012 when we did visit the “Home Of Speed” Malmö Raceway! 🥳

It’s also fun and at the same time kind of sad to see all the cars, drivers and teams that’s not with us in the Top Doorslammer class anymore! 🙃 It was something else for sure 12 years ago!

But we all have great memories from those days! ❤️ And I’m happy that I’ve got people in the team during the years that helped out to create and save the memories on both photo and in movies! 🤩

I want to say a huge thanks to all involved that made the Dala Street Open race at Dala Järna Raceway possible this past weekend! 🙏🏻😍

I did this Top Doorslammer exhibition race this year again because I want to support my home motor club SHRA Vansbro - Äppelbo, that together with Big Wheels Malung and Borlänge Dragracing Klubb arrange this event at my home track Dala Järna Raceway! 😃

I want to say a huge thanks to Dad and Sofi and a special thanks to Fredrik for helping out this weekend, with things he never done earlier! 😅

It’s not easy when you are missing people, especially people that are doing important things that makes all routines really simple to follow! 🤪

The weekend was kind of upside down for all of us but we did have a great time anyway, and that is pretty simple when you are around people with the same mindset and goal on the things you are doing! Having some fun! ❤️

Thanks to Lasse for helping us out and letting us use his shop to fix some issues! 🙏🏻 Thanks to Cissi for helping out on Saturday! 🙏🏻

I will sum up the weekend later, but first here is a video of our first and best round of the weekend, a slow 4.33 at 274 km/h! 🚙💨 But it’s pretty good anyway when you are making passes way powered down on an old airfield that’s not prepped for a car like this! 😎

We are at Dala Järna Raceway for some Top Doorslammer exhibition race this weekend with the Chevelle at the race Dala Street Open, arranged by my home motor club SHRA Vansbro - Äppelbo, together with Big Wheels Malung and Borlänge Dragracing Klubb! 😃

Me, Sofi and Fredrik arrived yesterday and did build our pit area, today we have done some changes / solved some issues on the Chevelle thanks to Lasse Israelsson! Thanks for that! 🙏🏻😍

Dad arrived this evening and we will continue the work on the car tomorrow morning! 🔧🚙💨

I have a plan to make 2-3 rounds tomorrow, and 2 on Sunday! 😎 Weather for the weekend looks great! 🥳

I want to take the opportunity and say a HUGE THANKS to everyone of you that helped out in some way so we could attend the race at Tierp Arena this past weekend! 🙏🏻❤️

Against all odds after Sofi saw that the rotor drive gears in the blower was damaged and saved the rest of the blower! 😅 We got to the track, but one day later than what was planned because UPS messed up with a package that got delayed 48 hours!… 👎🏻

Thanks to Krille for taking the 5.5 hour trip to the shop to help out getting everything ready for the weekend! ❤️

And a special thanks to customers at the ÅBM shop and friends that reached out the week before Tierp when Sofi found the issue with our blower, just to help out in some way making it possible for us to attend the event! 🙏🏻

It felt good to be back in Top Doorslammer also, this is where I belong! 😍 All since I announced that I will be back in the Chevelle again I have got A LOT of messages and a huge response from people that they are really happy that I will bring it out again! And it was the same thing during the whole weekend, pretty much everyone I talked to said “it’s so great that you are back in your own race car again” it both surprise me and makes me happy! 😁

The only one that did mistakes during the weekend was me!…. But what a hell, we made rounds with the car! 🥳 That’s more than some others did this past weekend! 🙃

I will sum up the whole weekend later, but now first we are preparing for the Top Doorslammer exhibition race at my home track here in Vansbro / Dala Järna!

If you are stupid and don’t remember what you should do, your race car will be lazy! 🚙💤

In Dala Järna last year I did use the MSD ARC module as a safety equipment due to the track conditions! Track wasn’t bad but last year it wasnt a track prepped for a car like this if you use too much power!
I don’t like traction controls, but instead of going up in smoke I have the ARC module to pretty much kill the engine, I prefer that instead of hurt the car! 🙈

But I forgot about it and that module also pretty much killed the engine from 2.3 seconds to the finish line!… Now it’s unplugged! 🤓 And I have done some small changes early in the round because the car was really slow there! 😴

Traction control retarders are for retards! 😅😂😂😂😂👊🏻

We are ready and will soon roll up for the next round and number 4 for us this weekend! 💪🏻🤠

If all works out like I plan, it will be fast! 😎
