Getting ready for Q3! Lets see if we can improve that .89

The Chevelle is ready for tomorrow’s qualifying, we got two more rounds first at 12:00 and last one at 16:45!

She is ready for a good nights sleep!

Schedule for tomorrow.

Motor checked and everything is still looking good, finally!

Max the transmission man is doing his thing! 🙂

Just some standard service, rear axle made some noise so we took it out and it was in a really bad shape… We got a spare that would work but Lenn Lindell / LL Racing got one that was much better and lended us that one, thank you buddy! This is what I love about dragracing, we are racing about it and we do all we can to help each other to make it possible! 😀

Awesome meat dinner from Kaare / Stockholm Gourmet! Can’t be better than this! 🙂

Tomorrow we gonna tune for faster rounds and more personal bests, stay tuned! 😉

After the last pass I said “let’s go into that 3.80 second zone” and I did put in a tune that made the job!! 🙂

It’s champagne time!!!

Still really slow on all the numbers and we got way more to put in tomorrow but what a hell we just made our first 3.89@313km/h pass with our Swedish Self-Built Bad Ass Doorslammer that I tune all by myself, after help / tuning school together with my American brother from another mother Brandon Pesz I am really proud of my team and what we are doing here with our little circus, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone that makes this possible for me and my team! Sponsors, partners, friends, family’s you are the best!!!

Parts issue still looking good after some Swedish hands on it… That makes me happy!

Btw, we are the number one qualifier again! Second event in a row, hell yeah baby!!!! 😀

I was pretty sure the track wouldn’t handle so much power this early during the day so I took it down way much on timing, shift rpm and rich on fuel but the track turned out to be way much better that what I thought so during a clean up after the pair before us I did a quick fuel change and that turned out to be a good idea!

But I was somewhere else in my mind… pretty sure I left my head in the trailer because I let of the throttle at a spot for no reason and then out with the chutes WAY WAY TOO EARLY!!! Already at 3.5 seconds… and I really don’t know why, like you can see on the speed that should been around 315km/h… 🙂

Also the parts issue is fixed to 99% like it looks right now! It’s fun to buy new parts and hurt the motor, miss a race, rebuild the new “ok” parts and then it works like it should…. Junk is all I can say about it, guess I need some Swedish made parts to put in the motor instead….!

Now some service, lunch and then put in a tune and go into the 3.80is for the first time!! 😀

Burgers from Stockholm Gourmet! 🙂

Just warmed up the car and it looks like our parts issues is solved for the moment! Soon time to find out about that if it will last or not, first qualifying round in less than 1 hour!

Stay tuned! 🙂

She’s ready, hold your thumbs!

Qualifying order.

We are ready for tomorrow’s first qualifying round that is way early on a track that have been used at all since late August last season… We are called at 10:00 so it’s time to get some sleep here because it will be an early morning tomorrow!

Ready, time to get some sleep!

Car is inspected and approved!

Doing those small things to make her happy 🙂

We got the sun and great weather back during the late evening.

Doing some helmet maintenance 😉

She’s all done and ready for tomorrow’s first qualifying pass.

Of course we found some time that work on and improve stuff on the trailer 😀

Looking good!!! And feels good to have this much room in the pit area.

There she is, looking lovely! 🙂

Finally at this fantastic place again, this is heaven on earth for sure! 🙂

Except for the rain we just got here! 😉

The sun is shining and it’s pretty warm outside!

Glenn is checking that everything is under control.

Too good to be true! 🙂

Together with LL Racing in the pits.

Was just about to unload the Chevelle and the sky opened…. It rains like fucking crazy right now… Haha, dragracing weather, finally! 🙂

Now wait some and get the race car out and finish her up!…

I spent to whole night cleaning out and organizing in the trailer and finally I start to get a little satisfied! 😉

And now me, Max and Patrik the praktikant are leaving the shop and finally heading for Tierp Arena!! 🙂

Tierp Arena here we come!!!

Some of last nights work on the trailer! Getting it organized! 🙂

Around 3 this morning I finally got all the boxes that was left in the trailer empty and out of it!

I am satisfied! 😀
