A new doorslammer is born in the shop!

Right now i am building a new chassis for a customer, this will be number three 25:1 E chassis that i am bulding!

Merry christmas and a happy new year!

I have started to translate the homepage to English, so all you out there can understand it!
We been working a little with the Chevelle and alot on the bus, pretty cold about minus 22 degrees celsius…. Hope it will start get warmer really soon!!

But right now i would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Race Year!!

November – Buildstart!

All righty then.
So the build begins. We started the transformation by removing all of the interior. The wooden floor and lower parts of the walls was in worse condition than we thought. And as always, we want to do a proper job so we started to tear out everything. Once the floor is out we can check all the hoses, tubing etc from the engine and drive train. Migh as well fix everything that needs fixing. We will also build a fresh water tank and a waste-water tank. It turns out there’s A LOT of free space under the floor!

October

I used to have a problem called “to much spare time”, and in October I found the solution! I bought a 12*5 meter tent in Mora and a Volvo bus from 1985. It used to live its life as a cargo bus but after we’re done it’s going to continue it’s life as our race-bus!

It’s over 14 meters long, over 4 meters high and 2.5 meters wide.
