Memories from the fourth event in 2022 for us! EDRS Top Doorslammer Round 5 in the series @ Gardermoen Raceway in Norway! 😃

Not the best racing weekend for us due to really cold weather so it was hard to find a tune to go really fast, but after a couple of rounds we managed to figure out the track and made a couple of 4.0 passes so I was satisfied! 😎 Track was good, it was just the cold weather that was the problem, cold track and a happy powerful motor is not the best combination! 😅

This was also the last race for our friends in Tee Cee Racing! 😢 They made their last pass after 25 years of racing against us and I’m kind of happy that they won the final agains us with a high 3 second pass, what a way to end a racing career! 💪🏻👌🏻 You will be missed on the race track guys, but we will see you as professional spectators instead! 😜💙

But we ended up in second spot as runner up and got a trophy! 🏆 So we got a trophy on every event we attended during 2022 and that’s not too bad! 🥇🥇🏆🥈

And we needed to go to this event to win the series and that’s what we did, we became the 2022 EDRS Top Doorslammer Champions! 🏆🥳 And we also managed to stay in the top position in points during the whole 2022 series! 🔝🤠

Awesome to catch up time with some friends I haven’t seen in a way too long time in the PJS Racing team! 🤩 My American brother and BAD ASS tuner Brandon Pesz, wife Kim, son Cole and my friend Jeff Jones! 😃

It was about 30+ degrees Celsius and sunny all weekend, and 3 awesome days of really tight racing! 😎

Thanks to Wes Buck with crew for making this awesome race happen! 🙏🏻

Before and during the race me Krille and Fredrik did have some vacation in Lake Placid at Motel Shoe, thanks for the hospitality! 🙏🏻 Did visit Forth Myers, and then we spent a day at Daytona Bike week after the race! After that we went by Susanne at Get Logistics to pack some parts that I’m shipping to Sweden, thanks again Susanne! 😍

Back home again at the Sjödin Motorsport / ÅBM Racing shop after the best drag racing experience I even been on as a spectator, The Drag Illustrated World Series Of Pro Mod last weekend @ Bradenton Motorsports Park! 🚙💨💪🏻🔝👑

Awesome to catch up time with some friends I haven’t seen in a way too long time in the PJS Racing team! 🤩 My American brother and BAD ASS tuner Brandon Pesz, wife Kim, son Cole and my friend Jeff Jones! 😃

It was about 30+ degrees Celsius and sunny all weekend, and 3 awesome days of really tight racing! 😎

Total of 61 Pro Mods, number 1 at 3.626 and number 31 at 3.682!!! Only 0.056s between the top 32!! 😅 Number 57 made a 3.734 and then it was some that did struggle with issues during the weekend so the last one at position 61 ended up with a 3.910 and that’s not bad either, this was a race with top quality cars, drivers and tuners! That’s for sure!! 😃

The race ended up with the number 32 qualifier Spencer Hyde that won the whole thing and took home the $100.000 to Canada! 🇨🇦🤘🏻A huge congrats! 👏🏻

Only thing that was a bit boring is that 1/3 of the field was a Camaro 69… Ok, I understand they have good aerodynamics and looks AWSESOME! But still, to many! 😴

I personally like the real hot rods, like my bud Brandon Pesz 53 Vette, Craig Sullivan’s awesome 49 Merc, Chip Kings Mustang that Lyle Barnett drove like a King and then Ty Tutterow in the 57 Buick! 🤠 Would be great with a weight break for old body style cars = real Hot Rods!
