We are loaded up and will be heading for Top Doorslammer round 2 and Meguiars Drag Festival at Mantorp Park tomorrow morning!
It’s not often I have seen something like this during the past 15 years, we are done and ready to go a long time before it’s time to leave the shop! 🙂
I got the crankshaft Monday last week, finally it was time to get the engine back together again!
It’s been a pretty hard week even that everything around was prepared as much as possible! I found some small issues, I also found things I wanted to remake and do better when assembling everything!
And then it was some small stuff that I could not do at all and had to wait until the crankshaft was in the block!
Me, dad and Peter did assemble the engine and put it back in the car while Nicke have prepared stuff around to make sure it will go faster to load up everything in the trailer when it’s time for it!
I then got the truck and trailer inspected, no problems with them so that felt good!
After that I got the car down on the scales for some final chassis adjustments after the winter updates!
Then it was time, the first start for the season! 🙂 It felt soo good to hear my conventional headed Big Block Chevrolet again!!! Simply great MUSIC!!
We then got the Chevelle loaded up in the trailer, FIVE hole days before it is time to leave the shop!… That’s just crazy! 😉
I then got a day and a half of free time home to celebrate that the Chevelle is fired up and loaded in the trailer! Crazy days!…
Then back at it, cleaning out the trailer and loading up the last stuff!
John the Sneaky Snake went by and washed off the rig! Much appreciated!
Nicke did fix a tail light on the truck!
We even got one more new team member for 2025! The world famous Kockafan will take care of the food for us, I have always said that good food for the guys that helps out is as important that the race car will be at the starting line when it’s time for it! That’s a thing that some people won’t understand!!…
We ended the day with some pizza dinner at the shop!
We are going to a race track again really soon, how great is that!?!!!?
